A woven rattan and lacquered pipe case depicting a bale of rice next to a Shishi-odoshi (water powered bird scarier). The Shishi-odoshi seems to be doing a good job, to the top part of the pipe case a bird is in full flight.

Condition – Some small losses to the rattan approximately three, each consisting of one or two strands of the weave. No cracks or splits.
