Pipe Case - Kan’u Beneath a Cherry Tree

Sold

A stag antler musozutsu pipe case, Kan’u stands beside a waterfall and beneath a cherry tree holding his dragon-headed halberd. His face and clothes are wonderfully carved, full of life and movement. The cherry tree works its way up the case, partially obscured by mist, the trunk of the tree forming the himotoshi.
