A four-case inro rendered in takamakie with inlays of pewter and raiden against a gold fundame ground.

Depicted, an elaborate Gosho Guruma decorated with a floral pattern and what appears to be mon. The frame and wheels rendered in pewter.

Resting against the trunk of the maple tree an attendant holds his parasol upright, the parasol inlaid in silver. The maple tree’s foliage is an autumn delight of gold, reddish brown; pewter and raiden extend across both sides and cover the top of the inro.  The verso is covered in fallen maple leaves, completing the autumnal scene.
