A beautifully worked kagamibuta-style netsuke in stag antler. Both the lid and bowl are carved from a section of antler with a lovely caramel colour, the lid having pierced openwork decorated in the centre with blossom. The bowl is decorated with various items associated with the Takemono, set amongst crashing waves, representing the nautical theme of the lucky gods treasure ship.
