A fine 19th century inro by Toyosai, rendered in sumi togidashi. The original design is inspired by a painting from Hogen Hidenobu. The front depicts three crows sat upon a plum tree branch with the moon appearing to the right. The design continues onto the verso with the other half of the moon and two further crows sat upon the plum tree branch that extends from the front of the design.

Condition – Small restoration to the crow on the verso.
