A wonderful netsuke carved from stag antler, depicting the famous Chinese general Kan’u, holding his halberd blade downward in one hand and stroking his beard with the other.
The undercutting, open work and flow of his cloths really give this netsuke that something special. By far the best example I’ve ever handled in stag antler.
