A four-case inrō depicting a large pine tree, its foliage inlaid with bright shell. The tree sits on a rocky outcrop overlooking a lake. To the verso, a small boat appears from behind the rocks. Reeds grow to the foreground, embellished with shell. In the distance, a small village is partially visible. The design in gold takamaki against a black ground.
